Four of them have one bedroom with two beds and are also suitable for families with two small children; a larger apartment has two rooms with four beds in total. Families appreciate the short, level walk to the water and the quiet street. Couples like to use Platamonas as a base: the beach in the morning, the castle or the promenade in the afternoon, a taverna in the evening. Is there an additional charge payable on site?
Yes. Overnight stays in Greece are subject to the statutory climate resilience levy (Télos Anthektikotitas stin Klimatiki Krisi). It is payable on site and comes on top of the rent.
How do I travel to Platamonas?
The nearest airport is Thessaloniki (SKG), about 100 kilometres away; from there onwards by hire car or transfer. Platamonas also has its own station on the Thessaloniki–Athens line.
